When addiction or behavioral challenges show up in the workplace—especially among leadership—it creates complex, high-stakes situations. As a professional interventionist, I specialize in discreet, structured interventions for executives and professionals, using the ARISE® model for Invitational Intervention®.
This model is built on respect, not confrontation. It allows individuals to engage voluntarily in treatment while preserving their sense of agency, privacy, and professionalism. At the same time, it educates those around them—employers, colleagues, and loved ones—on how to support recovery and restore healthy dynamics.
One of addiction’s most difficult traits is denial. Many professionals continue to perform at a high level while struggling behind the scenes. An intervention provides a compassionate, direct opportunity to address those patterns and offer a way forward—before consequences escalate.
Confidential support that protects careers, preserves dignity, and sets the stage for lasting change.
Addiction is a chronic, cyclical disease. Getting someone into treatment is a critical first step—but rarely enough on its own to sustain recovery.
Concierge Case Management is designed with the unique needs of executive networks in mind. We create a tailored Continued Care Program that supports both the individual and their professional and personal circle beyond initial treatment. This structured approach keeps everyone engaged in the recovery process—especially during vulnerable transitions, such as returning from a treatment facility to everyday life.
As a trained ARISE® Interventionist, I specialize in building Continued Care plans that provide ongoing support and accountability, bridging the gap between early recovery and long-term sobriety.
More than 20 million people in the U.S. are currently struggling with addiction—including high-performing professionals. In the workplace, denial can be even more entrenched, masked by success, status, or productivity. But addiction doesn’t discriminate, and it often goes unaddressed until a crisis occurs.
An executive intervention creates a structured, compassionate opportunity to confront the issue before it escalates. It educates all parties on the realities of addiction as a disease and offers a clear path toward recovery. By addressing the impact on both professional and personal lives, the intervention helps the individual see the consequences of their behavior—and the possibility of lasting change.
How it works
We know that this process can be overwhelming, intimidating, and highly emotional. With this in mind, we have outlined the steps that we follow when taking on new clients so that you know exactly what to expect when working with Ashley Gaede Interventions:
The initial consultation is an opportunity to discuss the situation and what’s led you to seek an intervention for a colleague, employee, or person of concern in a professional setting. It also allows us to determine if AGI is the right fit, based on our philosophy, experience with high-level professionals, and the urgency of your timeline.
We refer to this step as the network intake, recognizing that colleagues, executives, and loved ones are all impacted by the addiction and begin their own process of recovery. During this phase, we coordinate treatment placement and travel logistics for the individual of concern and begin preparing for the Network Meeting.
We use the term *Network Meeting* instead of “intervention” to reflect our more collaborative, less confrontational approach. This meeting brings together key colleagues, family members, and trusted individuals to share compassionate, non-judgmental, and fact-based messages with the individual of concern—using the communication strategies outlined during the Treatment Planning phase.
The treatment center will be carefully vetted and the best choice facility for the client’s needs will be selected as part of the intake process. It is standard practice that a team member from AGI accompanies the individual to the facility to ensure a smooth transition.
This phase of the AGI Intervention Process involves ongoing meetings with the interventionist, focused on treatment updates, check-ins, and continued education. Our goal is sustained, long-term recovery—for the individual and their professional and personal network—well beyond the initial treatment phase.
