Addiction Intervention for High-Level Professionals

When addiction affects an executive or high-performing employee, the stakes are significant. Reputational risk, operational continuity, liability concerns—these situations require both urgency and discretion.

I specialize in confidential interventions for executives, professionals, and high-profile individuals using the ARISE® method. This approach is structured, non-confrontational, and designed to preserve dignity while addressing the issue directly.

Unlike traditional surprise interventions, the ARISE® model brings key stakeholders—family, trusted colleagues, leadership—together to create a unified plan before approaching the individual. This reduces resistance, increases treatment acceptance rates, and minimizes workplace disruption.
The goal is clear: intervene before the situation escalates into a crisis that affects the entire organization.

Confidential support that protects careers, preserves dignity, and sets the stage for lasting change.

Ongoing Case Management for Recovey

My intervention services include comprehensive case management—because placing someone in treatment is only the beginning.

Addiction is a chronic disease. Without structured aftercare and ongoing accountability, relapse is likely—and that affects both the individual and the organization that's invested in their recovery.

I manage the entire continuum of care: treatment placement, transitions between levels of care, return-to-work planning, and ongoing monitoring. I coordinate with treatment facilities, communicate with designated stakeholders as appropriate, and ensure the individual has the structure and support needed to maintain sobriety while resuming their professional life.

The goal is sustainable recovery—for the person you're trying to help and for the organization they're part of.

High performance doesn't mean low risk. In fact, high-functioning professionals often go unaddressed longer—their success masks the problem until a crisis forces the issue.

More than 20 million Americans are struggling with addiction, including executives, attorneys, physicians, and other high-level professionals. Denial is especially entrenched when someone is still performing well. The external markers of success—productivity, status, competence—create cover for behaviors that are quietly spiraling.

An intervention creates a structured opportunity to address the issue before it escalates into something that threatens the individual's career, the organization's reputation, or worse.

Here is what you receive when working with me:

Confidential, discreet service. Privacy is paramount. I understand the reputational concerns at stake and structure every aspect of the intervention to minimize exposure and disruption.

Experience with high-level professionals. I've worked with executives, physicians, attorneys, and other professionals who require specialized treatment placement and a nuanced understanding of workplace dynamics.

A process designed for compliance, not confrontation. The ARISE® method reduces resistance and increases treatment acceptance rates—critical when dealing with individuals who are used to being in control.

Ongoing case management and return-to-work coordination. I don't disappear after placement. I manage the continuum of care and help facilitate a successful transition back to professional life.

How it works

The AGI
Intervention Process

You need clarity on what to expect. Here's my step-by-step process from initial consultation through long-term recovery support:

Consultation and Contract

We discuss the situation—how long the issue has been present, what steps have been taken, and the level of urgency. This conversation helps us both determine if we're the right fit and whether now is the right time to move forward.

I.

Intake & Treatment Planning

I call this network intake because everyone involved—colleagues, leadership, family members—is affected by the addiction. This is where we select the treatment facility, coordinate logistics, identify who should participate in the intervention, and begin preparing for the Network Meeting.

II.

Network Meeting

I use the term Network Meeting instead of "intervention" because this approach is less confrontational than traditional interventions. Designated stakeholders, colleagues, and family members gather to share fact-based, compassionate information with the individual and invite them to accept help. Most people say yes during this meeting—but if they don't, we have a plan for that too.

III.

Treatment

Once the individual agrees to treatment, I coordinate with the facility and arrange transportation. I personally accompany them to ensure they arrive safely. Meanwhile, I work with designated contacts on communication protocols and return-to-work planning.

IV.

Comprehensive Case Management

I stay in contact with the treatment facility, coordinate transitions between levels of care, and maintain communication with designated stakeholders. We address challenges as they arise and prepare for reintegration into professional life. This support continues for months, not days.

I am committed to helping families and loved ones navigate the recovery process
